William H. Funk III went to meet God on November 16th. He is survived by his loving wife Judy of 62 years and son William H. Funk IV of Richmond. Bill was transferred from Petersburg to Danville in 1967 as District Manager for Home Beneficial Life Insurance Co. He was very active in St. Joseph's Church in Petersburg and Sacred Heart of Danville. He served in many capacities with the Knights in Hopewell, Petersburg and Danville. Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 2pm on Thursday, November 19th. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Sacred Heart School.
