Waverly "Pete" Earl Watkins Jr.

It is with great sorrow the family would like to announce the passing of Waverly Earl Watkins, Jr. on Friday, July 31, 2026 at SOVAH Hospital in Danville, Virginia surrounded by his family.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 13602 Martinsville Highway Cascade, VA 24069 with Pastor Frederick Noel, Eulogist and Dr. Phillip Campbell presiding. Entombment will be held at Danville Memorial Gardens with Masonic Rites. Viewing will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at the residence 5016 Cobblestone Drive, Danville, VA on Wednesday and Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M.
