Thomas Eugene Keys

Thomas Eugene Keys passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 5th, 2025, at the age of 68, in Danville, VA.

Born on Wednesday, July 24th, 1957, Thomas was a son of the late Robert Lester Keys and Alice Virginia Keys. Thomas dedicated his professional life to landscaping and tree work. His passion for nature was further evident in his love for animals and outdoor activities. He was an avid fan of the Washington Commanders and rarely missed a game. Thomas was happiest when surrounded by his friends and family, sharing stories, jokes, and laughter.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 34 years, Martha Keys, and his daughter, Jenna Keys. He also leaves behind many loving siblings, nieces, and nephews, as well as special friends, Skip Land and Jim Blake.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Anne Wright.
