Tamsey Duncan

Tamsey Lou Allmond Duncan passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the age of 90 in Danville, Virginia.

Tamsey was born on June 29, 1934, a daughter of the late Harry Raymond Allmond and Sallie Bell Rhymer Allmond. Tamsey dedicated many years of her life to her work at Dan River Mills. She found joy in spending time with her family, sewing and solving puzzles.

In addition to her parents, Tamsey was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison Lee Duncan, Sr., her two sons, Harrison Lee Duncan, Jr. and Mark Steven Duncan, and her two brothers, Billie Ray Allmond and Donald Eugene Allmond.

She is survived by her son, Jerry Wayne Duncan, one granddaughter and two grandsons.

A graveside service will be held at Highland Burial Park in Danville, VA, on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Steve Lamb officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Tamsey's memory to the Glioblastoma Foundation, P. O. Box 62066, Durham, NC 27715.
