Roger Beck

Roger Taft Beck, 66, passed away at home on September 15, 2025.

He was born on February 24, 1959, to the late Henry and Laura Wilson Beck.

Roger loved animals. In the past Roger loved to hunt not because of the thrill of the hunt but because he loved listening to the dogs run through the woods. Roger was a quiet, hardworking man. He was very much a home body but allowed Ann to drag him out on adventures. Roger had been bravely fighting cancer since December of 2019.

Roger is survived by his beloved wife Ann Brumfield Beck and numerous fur babies.

A graveside service will be held Thursday September 18, 2025, 11:00am at Danville Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pittsylvania County Pet Center.
