Richard Dove

Richard Dove passed away on Friday, May 9th, 2025, at the age of 63.

Richard was born on Saturday, November 4th, 1961, a son of the late William Garrett Dove and Betty Jean Meeks Dove.

Richard is survived by his brother and sisters: including William Dove, Jr., Mary Harville (Tim), and Amy Scearce (Timothy), his nieces and nephews: Rebekah Shelton (James), William G. Dove III, Christian Dove, Michael Harville (Bay), Matthew Harville, Sarah Ashley Scearce, and Brandon Scearce. Richard also leaves behind his great-nieces and nephews: Savannah Shelton, Peyton Shelton, Jack Harville, and Dean Harville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece, Hannah Marie Dove.

A graveside service will be held at Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville, VA, on Friday, May 16th, 2025, at 11:00 am with the Reverend Bob Yeaman officiating.
