Reggie Arno

Nov 20, 1948 — May 6, 2026

Reginald (Reggie) Dean Arno died peacefully at the Stratford Rehabilitation Center in Danville. VA on May 6, 2026 in the arms of his little “sissy”, Cindy Arno. He was born in Woodstock, VA on November 20, 1948. He was the wild and middle child of three and was always able to find some mischief to get into.

Reggie loved life and he lived simply--usually focusing on living in the present without worrying about the future or past. He enjoyed watching sports and was a huge Florida State Seminole fan. He was an avid genealogist and proud of his heritage.

While he enjoyed being alone, he cherished his time with his canine and two- legged close friends. He never met a stranger and went to great lengths to offer his talents to a friend in need. He also enjoyed a good argument as long as it ended in both people laughing. He had a wicked and dry sense of humor and a strong faith that got him through the last 18 months of illness.

He is survived by his loving dog, Bowman, his sister whom he always tried to protect and his wonderful best friend, Tom Cahill.

Reggie will be cremated with a celebration of life and interment on October 11, at 1:00 PM at the Cedarwood Cemetery in Edinburg, VA. If interested in leaving a memorial on his behalf, please do so with your favorite charity.
