Peggy Jean Fowlkes Morris

Peggy Jean Fowlkes Morris of Danville, VA, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 25, 2025.

She was born on February 16, 1940, the daughter of the late Harry Fowlkes and Clarice Stowe Fowlkes.

In addition to her parents, Peggy is predeceased by her brother, Sam Fowlkes, and her sister, Nell F. Price.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Samuel M. Barker, brother, Ronnie Fowlkes (Pat), daughter, Susan Morris, son, Tracey Morris, grandsons, Logan Morris and Kelse Morris, stepson, Kenny Barker (Melisa), stepdaughter, Michelle B. Judkins, step-grandchildren, Calvin (Mary-Beth), Megan, Miranda, Joshua, Daniel, Amber, Audrey, and fur baby, Molly Ann.

A celebration of life will be held at Saint Mark Pentacostal Holiness Church, 1201 South Boston Road, Danville, VA, 24540, on Sunday, August 3, at 2:00 PM with the Reverend Jerry Foley officiating.
