Nancy Fralin

Nancy Bousman Fralin, 87, of 146 College Avenue, Danville, Virginia, passed away in the home on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, following a four-year illness due to stroke.  Mrs. Fralin was predeceased by her parents, Travis C. Bousman and Daisy Patterson Bousman.  Nancy is survived by her husband, David L. Fralin, Sr., and daughter Victoria Fralin Douglas, both of the home; as well as son David L. Fralin, Jr. and wife Kimberly, of Marietta, Georgia. Four grandchildren Christopher, Robert, Laura, and Michael survive their grandmother. Also surviving are Mrs. Betty Welch, sister of the deceased and brother-in-law Harold of Waverly, Virginia.      Nancy's last employment prior to retiring was as business administrator for Dominion Eye Center of the city.  Mrs. Fralin graduated from G.W. High School and was treasurer and an active organizer of class reunions for the Class of 1949.      Nancy was a faithful member of River of Life Church of Ringgold, Virginia, for 40 years and dearly cherished her church family.  Raised in the Christian Church, formerly of Jefferson Street, Danville, she joined her husband David as a member of West Main Baptist Church for more than twenty years (1957-1978).      The family wishes to thank SOVAH Hospice medical staff for their kindness, compassion and loving care during Mrs. Fralin's final weeks. Additionally, Dr. Paul Settle is thanked for the personal attention and care he provided throughout Nancy's illness.  Further thanks are given to Pastor Randy Suddeth and Richard Gardner of River of Life Church for their ongoing support and assistance to the immediate family.  Many thanks for friends’ and neighbors’ expressions of loving concern.       Graveside services only will be conducted on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 11:30 a.m., at Mt.
