Myrtle Dehart

Myrtle A. DeHart, age 96, formerly of 3524 Highway 29 North, Danville, VA, died October 23, 2013 at Blue Ridge Rehabilation Center in Martinsville, VA. She was a seamstress and was retired from Dan River Mills She is survived by a son, Ronald Taylor of Collinsville, VA; a daughter-in-law, Margaret Inman; and her nieces and nephews, to whom a special thanks is given, Julian and Billie Buckner, Joyce, Viola, Sandra and Lester. She was preceded in death by her husband, John DeHart; two grandsons, Carl Lee Taylor and Richard Dean Taylor. Funeral services will be held Friday October 25, 2013, at 12:00 Noon, at Townes Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Henry Memorial Park in Bassett, VA. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM prior to the funeral at Townes Funeral Home on Friday.
