Martha Ellen Keys

Martha Ellen Keys passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, January 2nd, 2026, at the age of 64, in Danville, VA.

Born on Monday, July 31st, 1961, Martha was the daughter of the late Stanley Eugene Young and Margaret “Betty” Elizabeth Young. Martha was gifted with both numbers and connecting with people, which led to a long career focused on customer service and accounting/management. She had a passion for music and animals, and was also an avid fan of Judge Judy and the Washington Commanders. Martha was a storyteller and was known for her gift of humor.

Martha is survived by her doting daughter, Jenna Keys, and her loving siblings Steven Young, Debra Linton, and Nancy Young.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Eugene Keys.
