June Burnett

June Clark Burnett, 81, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018, in Riverside Health and Rehab Center. She was born on June 13, 1937, in Danville, VA, a daughter of the late John Henry Clark and Iva Chandler Clark. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, William Kermit Burnett. After high school she was a full-time homemaker, wife and loving mother to her two children. June is survived by a son, William David Burnett and his wife Beth of Cary, NC; a daughter, Pamela Burnett Brigman of Nashville, TN; three granddaughters, Lauren Nichole Tremper and husband Kevin of Norfolk, VA, Lindsey Michelle Brigman of Nashville, TN, Blair Elizabeth Burnett of Washington, DC; six great-grandchildren, David, Emma, Sarah, Jayden, and Caleb Tremper, and Marlee Carter; a brother, Larry S Clark of Danville, VA, and sisters, Joyce C Ladd of Danville, VA, and Thelma Gleber of Danville, VA. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 2, 2018, at 2 pm at Townes Memorial Chapel with Pastor Kevin Tremper officiating.  The family will receive friends prior to service at the funeral home from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm and at other times will be at the residence, 119 Stonegate Way.
