Joyce Ann Carreras Davis passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, May 22nd, 2026, at the age of 84.
She was born on Wednesday, March 25th, 1942, in New York, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Miriam Carreras. Joyce was a dedicated medical transcriptionist for most of her life. Beyond her professional life, she found joy in reading, shopping, and spending time with her family. Her love for the beach was well-known, and she cherished every moment spent by the ocean's side. Joyce was a constant presence in the lives of her loved ones, always there with a listening ear and a warm heart.
She is survived by her daughter, Leslie A. Davis, and her grandchildren, Stephanie Roberts, Davis Rand, Mary Catherine Craft, and Shannon Davis, five great-grandchildren, and her brother, Louis Carreras.
Joyce was preceded in death by her devoted husband, William Glenn Davis Sr., and her son, William Glenn Davis, Jr.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date to honor Joyce's life and legacy.
