Jerry Keith Fisher

Jerry Keith Fisher passed away on October 16, 2026, in Danville, Virginia. He was born in Spokane, Washington on July 7, 1934, to Louise Bailey Fisher Titus and Kenneth Fisher. He grew up in Kenova, West Virginia.

He played basketball in high school, college, and the army. After the army, he went to college on the GI Bill to West Virginia University where he majored in accounting. There, he met Suzanne Goodall in 1959, then graduated in 1960. Soon after, he took up golf and loved it.

Jerry and Suzanne had 4 children and 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and is predeceased by 1 grandson. He took much pleasure in coaching his 2 boys in Little League. He and his wife came to Danville in 1983. He worked in Textiles most of his accounting career, which eventually brought him to audit manager at Dan River Mills in Danville, Virginia. In his retirement years he came to know our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in a very special way.

Jerry developed blood clots in his lungs and was lovingly attended to by our local hospice organization and SOVAH Health Danville's nurses and aides.
