Jenna Carole Trent Shook

Jenna Carole Trent Shook passed away on Thursday, December 25th, 2025, at the age of 52, in her hometown of Danville, VA.

Jenna was born on Tuesday, February 20th, 1973, to the late Frank Edward Trent and Carole Jane Shields. She attended Tunstall High School and developed a love for skating at Skate Town in her early years. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Jenna worked as a waitress at Occoneechee Farm Steak House in Hillsborough, NC. Her passion for life was evident in her many interests, including spending time with her family, crafting, and taking long walks on the beach. Jenna had a unique dislike for cotton balls, a quirk that brought smiles to those who knew her well. She was also known for her love of her mother's biscuits and potato salad, which she often shared with loved ones.

Jenna is survived by her devoted husband of 24 years, David Wayne Shook; her daughter, Kristin Elliott; her son, Trent Shook; her three grandchildren, Lily, Freya, and Jackson; her sister, Wanda Kaye Trent, and a special niece, Skylor Morris.
