Jean Parker

Jean King Parker passed away on February 18, 2021 at her home. She was married for 62 years to Herman W. Parker who passed away in 2014. She was the daughter of Ocie and Robert B. King. She is survived by her son Herman Michael Parker. She is also survived by three grandsons, Parker Keesee, Peyton Clay Keesee, Griffin Parker, one great granddaughter Emma Kaye Keesee, one sister June Oakley and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter Kaye Keesee, who passed away on June 26, 2016 and one sister Eileen Valoras. Jean worked at Dan River Mills and after retirement enjoyed playing bridge at the Nature Center and playing golf. A graveside service will be held Monday, February 22, 2021 2:00pm at Highland Burial Park with Reverend Fred Unger officiating. The family will be at the residence of her son-in-law, 186 Howeland Circle.
