James Albert Nance

James Albert "Mikie" Nance left all of his pain behind and went to his next home on Monday, May 18, 2026, in Danville, Virginia. No Pain. No Sorrow.

Mikie was born on May 29, 1963, a son of the late William Scott Nance and Jeanette Susan Odum. He worked at Weil-McLain in Eden, NC for many years, and was a veteran of Operation Desert Storm.

He was loved by so many people, especially his son, Joshua Nance, and his grandson Phoenyx Nance, his aunts, Frances Jarrett and Judith Bernard, a special pal, his dog, Dolittle, and all of his cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Cynthia Nance.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
