Howard Winston Bryant, Jr. passed away on January 6, 2026. Born in Danville, VA, on July 24, 1942, Howard was a son to the late Howard and Jacqueline Bryant.
He served in the United States Army for four years. He worked as a route salesman for Coca-Cola of Danville, VA, a truck driver for Roy Stone Trucking, Co. of Martinsville, VA, and retired from Warren Trucking Co.
Howard was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Jacqueline Bryant, sisters, Carole Marsh Swiggett and Joyce Bryant.
He is survived by two brothers, Julian Bryant of Semora, NC, and Kenneth Bryant, Sr., of Callands, VA; nieces, Wendy Bryant Motley (Ken) of Sanford, NC, Heather Bryant White (Charles) of Charleston, SC, and Sharon Marsh Agnello (John) of Raliegh, NC; nephew, Kenneth Bryant, Jr., as well as several great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at Schoolfield Cemetery in Danville, VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association.
The family has entrusted the arrangements to Townes Funeral Home and Crematory, located at 215 West Main St., Danville, VA. 434-793-1211.
