Harold Jordan

Harold Daniel Jordan, 66, of 1118 Westover Dr., Danville, VA went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 12, 2016 at his residence after a decline in health. He was born January 4, 1950, in Abingdon, VA to George and Gladys Jordan. Harold is best known for his love of the Lord, Love for his family and friends and a deep abiding Love for his Church family. He knew how to live a life full of humor, and had an immense talent and an encompassing desire to see others come to know Christ as their Savior. He was a genuine, plain spoken man who lived his life to the fullest every day. He encouraged others even during his time of illness, he thought of others before himself.  Harold is predeceased by both parents, a brother Gene Jordan and a sister Anne Honeycutt. He is survived by his wife, Lajuana Jordan and their children, Lisa and husband Jimmy, Victoria “Sissy”, Joey and wife Christie, Christie and partner Michael and Jannelle and partner Kevin. Harold has 10 grandchildren. Chelsea, Kaleb, Stacy, Casey, Joey, Alex, Joseph, Charity, Jenna and Luca. In addition to his children and grandchildren Harold is survived by his sister Jane Alvis and her husband Charles; brother, Dwayne Jordan and his wife Patti; and finally his brother Robert Jordan. He is survived by many special nieces, nephews and cousins. Harold was a member of Dan River Church. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 16, 21016 at 2pm at Dan River Church.  Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.   A visitation will be held Tuesday at Dan River Church from 6:00 - 7:30 pm and at other times the family will receive friends at the residence.
