Gloria Tanksley, 79, of Danville, wife of William E. Tanksley passed away on March 23, 2018. She was a daughter of the late Floyd and Lucille Brown Shumate. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children, William L. Tanksley and Vanessa Dodson (Wayne); and four grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Townes Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Burial Park on Monday, March 26, 2018.
