Earl Moore

Earl Garrett Moore, 78, of Ringgold, VA passed Monday, October 19, 2015 at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital. He was born on January 12, 1937 in Halifax County. He was a son of the late George Moore and Mary Belcher Moore. Mr. Moore is survived by his wife Mary S. Moore of the home, a son Tony Moore, a daughter Tammy Jacobs & husband Daryl, a granddaughter McKenzie Jacobs. Sisters Georgia Loveland and husband Chuck and Julia Hazelwood and husband Buck and very dear friend Beulah Wann. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother Curtis Moore and sisters Virginia Moore and Pauline Elliott. Graveside funeral services will be held at Highland Burial Park on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Duane Caldwell officiating. The family will receive friends at Townes Funeral Home on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. The family would like to especially thank his care givers Brittany Mullis and Delores Logan. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mr. Moore's honor to the charity of your choice. Townes Funeral Home, 215 West Main Street, is serving the Moore family.
