Carl Goad

Carl Ellis Goad of 209 Parrish Road, Danville, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at his residence. He was born on July 22, 1954 in Danville, a son of the late James Berry Goad and Reba Scarce Goad. Carl worked at Olde Dominion Motor Sports and was a member of Mosley Memorial United Methodist Church. He is survived by a son Daniel Goad of Charlotte, NC, and one brother Richard Goad of Danville. Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Highland Burial Park with Reverend Susan Hannah officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Townes Funeral Home. Townes Funeral Home and Crematory, 215 West Main Street, is serving the Goad family.
