Brett Daniels

Brett Wade Daniels, 61, of 119 Oak Ridge Lane, Danville, VA, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at The Hospice Home in Burlington, NC.    He was born on August 13, 1955, in Petersburg, VA, to the late Luther Charles Daniels, Sr. and Colleen Mitchell Daniels.    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Collie Daniels.  He is survived by his daughter, Courtney Daniels Prutzman, of Burlington, NC; his grandson, Evan Prutzman, of Burlington, NC; a sister, Robin Eggleston and husband, Rives, of Boydton, VA; a brother, Luther C. Daniels, Jr. and wife, Ann, of Lawrenceville, GA; and multiple special nieces and nephews.    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Townes Memorial Chapel at 2:00 PM, with the Reverend Daryl Joyce Officiating.  Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens.    The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the funeral at Townes Funeral Home.    In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell, 918 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC  27215.
