April Marshall

April Violet Frits Marshall, age 53, of Sutherlin, went home to the Lord September 24, 2025, at Sovah Health - Danville. April was born March 27, 1972, in Dothan, Alabama to Jon C. Frits and Vera Boswell Frits. April was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved being outdoors, exploring new areas and cooking for her family. Her greatest joy was in caring for and spending time with her grandsons. April is survived in death by her parents, Jon and Vera Frits of Macclenny, FL; brother Jon J. Frits (Arielle) of Macclenny, FL; sister Ginger R. Lipford of Marianna, FL; husband Robert Marshall of Sutherlin, VA; sons Jonathan R. Crawford (Stacey) of Sutherlin, VA, Jordan L. Crawford of Panama City, FL and Anthony Wade of Yulee, FL; daughters Kellie Marshall of Danville, VA and Journey L. Ryan of Sutherlin, VA; and grandsons Kemen Lowery and Kelso Everette of Danville, VA. She was predeceased by brother A. Richard Carnley (Richie) of Bonifay, FL. She leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and  great nephews. 

The family is planning a private celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, they kindly suggest memorial contributions be made to pediatric cancer charity of your choosing.
