Anne Banks

Anne Myers Banks, 83, died peacefully at Riverside Nursing Home, Danville, VA, on Jan.2, 2017. Born in Danville, she attended Salem College, and lived in Greensboro, NC, Raleigh, NC, and Danville. She enjoyed a lifelong love of music, and sang for many church, civic, and social events, as well as teaching voice lessons. She was married to the late Robert Harriss Banks for many years; she is survived by their daughter, Anne Elizabeth Banks Coldiron, and granddaughter, Katharine Coldiron Mason. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
