Andrew Williams

Andrew Lane Williams, lifelong resident of Ringgold, VA, passed away on April 18, 2018, in Davie, FL. He was born on May 22, 1983 at Danville Memorial Hospital, to his parents Danny and Jean Williams. Andrew attended Hargrave Military Academy and was a member of The Tabernacle. He had a love of motocross which spanned thirty years. He worked as a pipe fitter at CenTech Service Corporation in Danville, VA. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Rachael Williams; three daughters, Zoe Jean, Zara Lynn, and Zia Lane Hattie Williams and their mother, Erin Martin Williams, of South Boston, VA; three siblings, Dana Gayle Velling, and husband, Bernd, of Ringgold, Haley Nicole Williams Graydon, and husband, Stuart, of Colorado Springs, CO, and Harrison Lee Williams, of Leasburg; paternal grandmother, Agnes Williams, of Ringgold; maternal grandfather, Henry McDaniel, of Java; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Linwood H. Williams; and maternal grandmother, Hazel Elaine Giles Ashley. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Townes Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and at other times at the residence of Danny and Jean Williams.
