Rick Adams

Wallace “Rick” Adams, Jr. has worked at Townes Funeral Home for over fifty years. He graduated from Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, Georgia, in August of 1975. In November of 1975 he received his Funeral Service License from Virginia along with his CCO. 

On April 14, 1973, he married Mary Ellen Johnson. They have two children, Laura A. McClanahan and husband Glenn, of Danville, VA, and Lisa A. Kelpe and husband Mark, of Ruckersville, VA; and three grandchildren, Lee Adams, Elizabeth Kelpe, and Ryan Kelpe. 

Rick is a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 235 and attends United Baptist Church.
